Challenge
Never strived to be different. I have witnessed that people who design to be different always end up being the same. To be different, I believe I need to be aware.
The more aware I am of my customers, the uniqueness of the work I produce naturally forms itself. I don’t try to make good designs to be different. My good designs are different by themselves. Good and correct design. That’s what I really aim for.
Result
If you are going to design a user interface, you cannot do it without basing it on user experience.
Just because a visual looks nice, it doesn’t make it functional. Likewise, just because a visual is functional, it doesn’t mean it is well-designed. At least not today! Even billion-dollar companies, after years of improving user experience, can disrupt it with a very simple mistake, affecting the daily habits of millions of people.
